This morning I stopped to think about where I'm at in my life right now, and I've got to say life is good. When I think about where I come from and the journey to getting here I can't help but be proud.  The oldest son of a proud hardworking single mother, life wasn't always glamorous. We often went without most of the luxuries that people so often take for granted. Internet? We had a firepit. Cell phones?  Not in the little town I grew up in. No matter how little we had or hard things got we always stuck together. At the end of the day family and friends are the most important thing you can have in your life. Even though I live hundreds of miles away from them now my family is still as close to me as ever. Life is truly good.
